Autism has been symbolized as a puzzle for years and years and some people may have asked the question: “why?” Some on the Spectrum don’t approve by saying, “We are not a puzzle, we are people,” and, “We are already whole.” While this is true, we should also consider what it means to the Neuro-Typicals. To them, we are aliens to society: people who are nearly impossible to understand; enigmatic. They have psychological “experts” analyze us, medicate us, institutionalize us, and/or worse pity us. They do this because they want us to follow their rules no matter what we think and will go to
